The 2006 3rd WTF Commonwealth Taekwondo Championships were held at the Brisbane Indoor Sports Centre, Boondall Entertainment Centre, Queensland from 13th - 15th October 2006.
This historic event was sanctioned by the World Taekwondo Federation and the Commonwealth Games Federation, and marked the inclusion of Taekwondo in future Commonwealth Games.
International Technical Judges, International Referees and Athletes from fourteen Commonwealth countries participated.
Master Joon No held the positions of Australian Head of Team, Australian Team Coach and International Technical Judge at this event.
The 2006 Australian Taekwondo Team contesting at 2006 3rd Commonwealth Taekwondo Championships consisted of 6 Black Belt sparring competitors from our club, who all (100%) proudly represented and won a medal for their country.
