2006 Japan Kumamoto International Taekwondo Open & Korea Training Tour

The 2006 Japan / Korea trip was a great success, with the Joon No's "Tigers" attending the 2006 Japan Kumamoto International Taekwondo Open during the month of April. Once again, our club achieved outstanding results.

This trip's objective was to provide an opportunity to our young upcoming athletes to be exposed to international events and also to elite training. More importantly, our players were able to witness and experience the Japanese and Korean cultures, and to appreciate and understand the true philosophy of Taekwondo. Although majority of our players were young and inexperienced, they were able to demonstrate great potential and ability to perform at international events.

Training was undertaken in Seoul Korea, at the Physical Education High School and Hunsung High School, both of which possess highly elite and professional taekwondo teams. Joon No's "Tigers" approached training with a sense of determination and maturity which Mr. No was extremely proud of.

Once again, we would like to whole-heartedly thank our sponsor Macquarie for their continuous support to Joon No's Taekwondo, and for allowing us to provide such opportunities to our upcoming athletes!
