2009 3rd World Taekwondo Culture Expo & 7th Chuncheon Open Korea
As Head of Australian Team, Master No led a small team to Korea for the 3rd World Taekwondo Culture Expo & 7th Chuncheon Open from 3rd to 15 July 2009.
At the 3rd World Taewkondo Culture Expo, the small team of 7 Tiger Team members brought home 2 gold , 3 silver and 1 bronze medals for the sparring competition and 2 gold medals for the poomsae competition. Master No was very pleased with the performances of the team. The impressive performances especially of Christina No, who won gold in the senior division resulted in press interviews with the Korean news.
It was another great experience for the competitors at the 7th Chuncheon Open where competitors included Olympians and Korean National Team. Although no medals were won at this competition, a number of them made it to quarter finals. Master No felt that more importantly, the competitors performed their best and gained invaluable experience necessary for future international and world championships.
