Celebration Dinner & Awards Night 2008

The highlight of each year is the Joon No's Taekwondo Celebration Dinner and Awards Night. We had overwhelming response to this year's dinner with about 150 club members and families at Yar Restaurant on Sunday 16 November. The Korean Japanese restaurant served a wide variety of korean and japanese food buffet style.

At the dinner, we surprised Master No with the celebration of his birthday. Everyone had a delicious serve of the Strawberry Roulade cake with compliments from Thomas Lee of Elise Patisserie.

We were extremely pleased to have David Russell and John Kaminski and their families joining us at the dinner. Both David and John have facilitated in Macquarie's sponsorships to Joon No's Taekwondo.

Master No, John Kaminski and David Russell handed out awards to Club members and parents for their contribution and achievements for 2008. A listing of the awards is available in the Awards tab.

Club members moved on to enjoy the rest of the night with karoke, showing off their singing talents, together with Master No and Bianca No.
