Roxburgh Park Open Day 26 April 2008
Thirty dedicated and committed members of Joon No’s Taekwondo gathered at Roxburgh Park Branch’s Open Day on Saturday 26 April and showed off an outstanding display of Taekwondo skills and techniques. Some of these Tiger Team members travelled as far as Dandenong and Bendigo to support and celebrate another milestone of Joon No’s Taekwondo.
Roxburgh Park Branch is Joon No’s Taekwondo 9th Branch Opening, reinforcing Joon No’s Taekwondo’s commitment and success.
The day was action packed with demonstration on Hand and Kicking Techniques, Sparring Techniques and Poomsae (Formwork). The Board Breaking sessions were very impressive, even the White Belts juniors were breaking timber boards with the right techniques and power.
Grandmaster Joon No demonstrated a magnificent series of Self Defence Techniques, against different weapons and attacking styles.
Another highlight of the day was Instructor, Master Ibrahim Saida’s powerful and accurate kick to an apple, knocking it off a knife from a 2 men height, attracting applause from the audience.
