Annual Celebrations & Awards Gathering 2009
On Sunday November 22nd we held our Annual Celebration & Awards Gathering to celebrate another great taekwondo year and acknowledge the achievements of our students during 2009. The inclusion of an inaugural ‘Dress Up As A Cartoon Character’ competition, made for a very interesting event with the appearance of the likes of Tarzan, Minnie Mouse, Wally (of Where’s Wally fame), Tinkerbell, Snow White and Zoro. Master No gave an emotional speech as he thanked all the Instructors for their help and support during the year, which has enabled him to travel overseas with Tiger Team Members as well as fulfill WTF judging commitments at International Poomsae events. Master No then presented awards to students whose commitment and dedication to their training has led to outstanding performances at both National and International Tournaments or improved performances at various competitions. After all the formalities were over, it was down to the serious business of karaoke, where all our budding singing stars came out of the closet to entertain the crowd.
