National Championships 2006
The above National championships were held in Adelaide, South Australia during the 22nd - 24th September 2006, at the Adelaide Super Drome.
20 Junior Sparring competitors, 2 Senior Sparring competitor, and 6 Poomsae competitors represented Joon No's Taekwondo at this event.
Congratulations to the 26 "Tiger Team" competitors, who with their dedication and enthusiasm are now Australian 2006 Taekwondo Champions in their respective belt, age/weight categories.
The results were once again very impressive, where 85% of our sparring competitors and 67% of our clubs Poomsae competitors are now 2006 Australian National Taekwondo Champions in their respective divisions.
The 2006 Australian Open and National Championships was also a selection event for Junior 14-17 year Black Belts for the Australian Youth Olympic Festival (AYOF).
All our Junior Black Belt competitors (100%) qualified to represent Australia at this International event, to be held at Olympic Park in Sydney between 17th-21st January 2007.
