I started to learn Taekwondo when I was six years old in China. And continued my lessons of Taekwondo in club of Grandmaster Joon No in Brighton when our family moved to Australia in September 2008, when I was yellow belt level.
I started to learn how to spar with electronics and learnt new patterns after I joined Joon No's Taekwondo. I enjoyed having championships regularly, and having Tiger Training every week. From my experience of learning Taekwondo, I met many new friends from our club. I learnt a lot of new skills and techniques of self defence. I even can break the wood boards when I was grading. I felt very proud of myself.
Firstly, learning Taekwondo can make me fitter and able to defend myself. We are always trying to become healthier, learning Taekwondo can do so to detect the diseases. Taekwondo is very powerful; it is a good way to defend yourself. Learning Taekwondo is an efficient way to protect you, avoids being attacked.
Secondly, often attending to Taekwondo lessons can practice your patience, strengthen your mind and spirit. After learning Taekwondo, I felt more brave, aggressive and tenacious. I am becoming a person full of vigor and confidence in everyday life.
Thirdly, learning Taekwondo makes me to promote myself personal quality, it makes me more polite, modest, tolerant than before.
Fourthly, when I study Taekwondo, Masters always demand me to be serious, quick, which is the basic requirement of Taekwondo. I have to overtake the shortcoming, like lazy, weak, negative and low self esteem which effect my everyday's life and makes me more stronger than before.
Lastly, Taekwondo is one of the Olympics games. I got a lot of opportunities to attend different competitions, to meet a lot of new people, and to make a lot of new friends. My club mates help me to improve my Taekwondo levels. I also enjoyed to have training with my club mates.
I LOVE TAEKWONDO.
