Taekwondo's philosophy is to strive for a positive attitude in a person's personality. Taekwondo's traditional aspects are Respect, Courtesy, Loyalty, Courage, Patience and Integrity.
I'm honoured to be trained by Grandmaster No and I would have to be taught even more to get better and more skilled. I would like to get more tiger badges and have more fun.
When I first did Taekwondo, I felt very lucky that I could actually learn Taekwondo and practice. I have also made more friends while doing Taekwondo.
Taekwondo is not just a sport for exercise. It's a martial art; Taekwondo has helped me to have discipline, to defend myself, to become stronger, become flexible and fitter.
I love sparring, going to competitions and winning gold medals. So far I have 2 bronze medals, three silver medals and five gold medals. I have been sweating a lot and also have some tears over the years. I like sparring, learning new patterns, learning new techniques, doing one step exercises and practicing self defence.
I would like to thank Mr No, Terry, Darryl, Adrian and Dongmin for teaching me. I would especially like to thank my mum and dad for taking me to class a couple of times a week for over four years.
