Why introduce Taekwondo as part of school curriculum?

Taekwondo places very strong emphasis on good mental attitude, character development and improvement of self confidence and well being. As a competitive sport, it is played with determination and good spirit. Etiquette is an important aspect of the classroom and sports environment, and Taekwondo serves as a strong foundation for many other activities and sports that students may undertake. Benefits include improving Concentration, Coordination, Physical Fitness, Flexibility, Stress Relief, Self Defence and Confidence. By introducing Taekwondo through your school, your students will benefit from this exposure, the opportunity they may not get on their own. Many club members join Joon No’s Taekwondo through word of mouth and school programs.
